International Project Cooperation (IPC): Catch-up Meeting of Board Members

(19:00 Hanoi time, June 02nd, 2023) The regular meeting for the board members of the International Project Cooperation (IPC) has been held virtually from different corners in the ASEAN region: Vietnam (Mr. Hung – SOLEN Director, Laos (Dr. Hendra – SOLEN Associate), Myanmar (Dr. Moe – SOLEN Associate) and Indonesia (Mr. Kukuh – SOLEN Associate).

We have discussed on current activities of SOLEN with a near future plan, for examples:

• Going to accomplish the first activity of the Joint Research Program with STT MIGAS (Balikpapan City, Indonesia);
• Expanding our professional network to partners outside of the ASEAN region: Kyoto University, JICA, etc.
• Working on proposals to search for financial support from others in various activities: research, training, knowledge sharing, etc.

Born by the members of AUN/SEED-Net alumni, the board members of the IPC are working together to create a effective and active platform for strengthening the human resource for the ASEAN region, epecially in the field of natural resources and environment.
