STT Migas (Indonesia) and SOLEN (Vietnam) are partnering in a joint research program in which research participants from both sides are able:

• To do research under the supervision of experts from both sides
• To conduct a site survey in Indonesia and Vietnam with support from organizers
• To connect and continuously work with/for organizers in future projects

RESEARCH TOPICS

Interested individual professionals, researcher, and students for conducting joint research in the interdisciplinary fields under the potential research topics but not limited to:

1. Environmental concerns on the future development of Indonesia’s new capital in East Kalimantan Province
2. Overview of environmental policy in Indonesia and Vietnam
3. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) from the industrial activity(s) focusing on natural resources and mining in Indonesia or Vietnam
4. Solid waste management study in a major city in Indonesia and/or Vietnam
5. Air quality study from motorbike emission in Indonesia and/or Vietnam
6. Other general and specific environmental, geological studies: water quality contamination, geological hazard mitigation for natural or disaster (landslide, flood, drought).
