According to the plan of cooperation activities between SOLEN and CKC, the knowledge-sharing session was held on the 2nd of July, 2023, at 10:30 AM (Hanoi time).
The knowledge-sharing this time has a topic about Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) system in Myanmar, sharing a lot of useful information about the EIA system as well as the differences between it in Vietnam and Laos.
The speaker of this sharing session is Dr. NiLar Wynn, an Environmental Expert, who currently works at Myanmar Koei International Ltd. She is currently working as deputy team leader for the Strategic Environmental Assessment report preparation of sustainable planning and improvement of solid waste management in Yangon City. Moreover, she has been working as an environmental expert in various projects in MKI, inter alia, the Environmental Monitoring Service for Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Ltd. and she is responsible for undertaking overall environmental aspects including environmental surveys, environmental impact assessment, facilitating PCMs, etc.
