On April 1st, SOLEN held an online knowledge-sharing session with the topic: “Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in Lao PDR.” The sharing speaker is Dr. Hendra Winastu – an Indonesian expert. He is currently working and living in Laos and is the principal associate of SOLEN. With a lot of experience gained during working on a hydropower project, Mr. Hendra has brought a lot of good and useful knowledge in carrying out an environmental impact assessment in Laos.
The knowledge-sharing session took place successfully with 20 participants, including members of SOLEN, CKC, and individuals from other organizations. The participants and the speakers had lively discussions on questions related to the topic.
