Registration extended – Short course “Views and Values ​​of Nature” 2026

The short-term course “Views and Values ​​of Nature” is a novel and enriching educational program combining hands-on experience with environmental knowledge, initiated and implemented by SOLEN.

First organized in 2023, the program aims to bring learners closer to nature, fostering a deeper understanding of it so they can adopt nature-based approaches in their daily lives. In 2026, the program will continue to be held to maintain the spirit of positive contributions to nature conservation and environmental protection.

1. Lecture

This study explores humanity’s understanding and perception of Nature, and discovers the true value of Nature to humankind. From there, it aims to bring humanity closer to Nature, laying the foundation for a lifestyle and approach to human activities that is harmonious, close to, and based on Nature.

Format: Online via Zoom Meeting
Language: Bilingual English – Vietnamese

Lecture activities: May 27-29, 2026

Duration: 2 hours per session for a maximum of 3 consecutive sessions;

Timeline Session 1: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, May 27, 2026;
Timeline Session 2: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, May 28, 2026;
Timeline Session 3: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, May 29, 2026.

 

2. Ecotourism

Ecotour activities will have destinations in nature reserves and national parks where participants can personally experience and recognize the true values ​​of nature.

The ecotourism activity is conducted as a practical experience following the aforementioned Environmental lecture. Students will have a trip combining sightseeing and practical exercises in protecting the natural environment at one of Vietnam’s ecological reserves.

Main activities of the trip:

(1) Visiting natural scenic spots;
(2) Planting trees;
(3) Cleaning up trash;
(4) Experiencing scientific research.

 

Ecotourism destination

Course applicants can choose one of the following ecological conservation areas in Vietnam, including National Parks, Biosphere Reserves, natural forest areas, etc.:
Option 1: Ba Vi National Park (Suoi Hai Commune, Hanoi);
Option 2: Tam Dao National Park (Tam Dao Commune, Phu Tho);
Option 3: Xuan Thuy National Park (Giao Minh Commune, Ninh Binh).

 

3. Costs

Based on the ecotourism destination chosen by the registrant, SOLEN calculates and sends the detailed cost of the entire course to the participant.

The registration fee includes all costs for the lectures and the eco-tourism trip.
