National Technical Regulations (abbreviated as QCVN) are regulations that stipulate the mandatory limits of technical characteristics and management requirements that products, goods, services, processes, the environment, and other socio-economic activities must comply with to ensure safety, hygiene, health, consumer rights, community well-being, and environmental protection.
In the environmental sector, QCVNs are promulgated to set allowable limits for environmental parameters and related management requirements, serving as a basis for pollution control, compliance assessment, and the protection of human health and ecosystems. QCVNs are developed across various areas, including wastewater, emissions, soil quality, surface water, groundwater, noise, and solid waste.
