(Hanoi, 17 December 2022) The application for the “Call for research participants in Indonesia – Vietnam” collaboratively organized by Balikpapan School of Petroleum Technology STT – Migas (Balikpapan City, Indonesia) and SOLEN Environmental Solutions JSC. (Hanoi Capital, Viet Nam) has been ended on 15 December 2022. We have received applications from candidates. In the meantime, however, we have also received requests for an extension of the submission deadline. To give more chances for concerned researchers to participate in the program, we have carefully discussed within our joint research panel and have made our decision to extend it.

Interested individual professionals, researcher, and students for conducting joint research in the interdisciplinary fields under the potential research topics but not limited to:
Environmental concerns on the future development of Indonesia’s new capital in East Kalimantan Province
Overview of environmental policy in Indonesia and Vietnam
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) from the industrial activity(s) focusing on natural resources and mining in Indonesia or Vietnam
Solid waste management study in a major city in Indonesia and/or Vietnam
Air quality study from motorbike emission in Indonesia and/or Vietnam
Other general and specific environmental, geological studies: water quality contamination, geological hazard mitigation for natural or disaster (landslide, flood, drought).
